Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how 3i People, Inc. ("3i People," "we," "our," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit www.3ipeople.com, contact us, or engage us for workforce, technology, or staffing services. It also explains the choices and rights you have under applicable laws including the EU/UK GDPR, California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and similar US state laws.
1. Who we are
3i People, Inc. is the controller of personal information collected through this website. Our headquarters is 5755 North Point Pkwy, Suite 234, Alpharetta, GA 30022, United States. You can reach us at info@3ipeople.com or +1 (404) 636-2397.
2. Information we collect
We collect personal information in three ways:
- Information you provide. When you submit our contact form, subscribe to our newsletter, apply for a role, or correspond with us via email, you may share your name, business email, phone, employer, job title, and the content of your message.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical information such as IP address (truncated for analytics), browser type, operating system, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring URL, scroll depth, and click events. This is collected via cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, subject to your consent choices (see Section 5).
- Information from third parties. If you reach us through LinkedIn or another B2B platform, we may receive your professional profile, the campaign source, or referral information from that platform.
3. How we use information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- Responding to inquiries, scheduling consultations, and providing requested information.
- Delivering staffing, recruiting, and technology services to enterprise clients and candidates.
- Improving the website and our services through analytics and user-experience measurement.
- Sending the newsletter you signed up for and operational communications.
- Meeting legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations (including diversity-supplier reporting under NMSDC and tax/employment law).
- Protecting against fraud, abuse, and security risks.
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
If GDPR applies to you, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent — for optional analytics, marketing cookies, and the newsletter.
- Contract — when we respond to a request you submit or fulfill a service agreement.
- Legitimate interests — for security, basic site analytics, and informing you about services similar to those you have inquired about.
- Legal obligation — for record-keeping, tax, and compliance.
5. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies. Optional categories are off by default; you choose what to enable through our cookie banner the first time you visit. You can change your choices at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer.
| Category | Purpose | Service providers |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary (always on) | Form submission, cookie-preference memory, security, accessibility settings. | Formspree, our hosting provider |
| Analytics (opt-in) | Understanding which pages and content matter, identifying broken flows, measuring conversion paths. | Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity |
| Marketing (opt-in) | Ad measurement, retargeting, audience-match for B2B campaigns. | LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Ads (when running campaigns) |
| Preferences (opt-in) | Remembering display options, theme, or language choices. | First-party |
We implement Google Consent Mode v2, which means analytics and marketing tags do not load with identifiable data until you accept them. If you reject optional categories, no analytics or marketing cookies are written to your browser.
6. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers bound by data-processing agreements: our hosting platform, form-submission processor (Formspree), email infrastructure, analytics providers listed above, and CRM systems we use to manage client and candidate relationships.
- Enterprise clients and candidates as needed to deliver our services (for example, sharing a candidate's resume with a hiring client with the candidate's permission).
- Legal and regulatory authorities when required by law, court order, or to defend our legal rights.
- Successors in interest in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice and choice where required.
7. International data transfers
3i People operates from the United States and India. If you visit us from outside these countries, your information will be transferred to, processed, and stored in the US and/or India. Where required by law, we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK Addendum, or equivalent mechanisms for international transfers.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, then delete or anonymize it. Typical retention:
- Inquiry and form-submission data: up to 24 months after the last interaction.
- Newsletter subscriber data: until you unsubscribe, then up to 30 days in a suppression list.
- Analytics data: GA4 retention set to 14 months; Microsoft Clarity retention set to 30 days.
- Service records: as required by client contracts and applicable employment, tax, and compliance regulations (typically up to 7 years).
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights:
- Access — a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction — fix information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Deletion — ask us to delete information we no longer need.
- Portability — receive your information in a structured, commonly used format.
- Opt-out of sale or sharing — we do not sell information, but you can confirm this preference.
- Limit use of sensitive personal information (where applicable under CCPA/CPRA).
- Withdraw consent at any time for analytics and marketing categories.
- Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@3ipeople.com with the subject "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe required by your jurisdiction (typically 30-45 days).
10. Children
This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact info@3ipeople.com and we will delete it.
11. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information — including HTTPS in transit, access controls, vendor due diligence, and the security frameworks documented on our Compliance & Certifications page (SOC 2 Type II aligned, ISO 9001 and 27001 aligned, HIPAA/HITRUST ready, NIST 800-171 / CMMC-aligned).
12. Do Not Track
We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where they are required by state law, in addition to the choices you make in our cookie banner.
13. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change or to reflect new legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page for a reasonable period after publication.
