When our founder named the company in 2002, the idea was simple: most of us are fortunate enough to have two eyes — but in this business, you need a third eye to find top resources. That's the lens we still operate by.
Our first major client (a leading Communications company) came to 3i looking for a diverse supplier with access to large numbers of IT and non-IT resources. The first two years were brutal. We were close to closing the doors. Instead of giving up, we examined the data, replicated the client's scorecard, and built our own automated sourcing tool. That tool became Leap Tiger™ — and that account became the springboard for the tech-enabled company we are today.
