In 2002, our founder was looking for a unique name for his new company. He thought – most of us are fortunate enough to have two eyes but, in this business, you need a third eye in finding top resources. So, we are that third eye that gives us an intuitive insight and vision beyond what most people can see and feel. And this is how 3i People got its name.
One of our top clients (a major company in the Communication Industry) contacted 3i, looking for a diverse supplier that had access to a large number of IT and Non IT resources. We struggled the first couple of years. and to be honest we were on our way out the door. This was unacceptable so we examined the data and leveraged technology replicating our client’s scorecard and created our own sophisticated automated sourcing tool. The client’s expectations were exceeded to the point where 3i is now seen by them as the primary go to for talent. This account was the springboard for our internal ATS named Leap Tiger and made 3i the Tech Enabled company we are today.
Recruiting is a core strength for 3i People, in recruiting there is no shortage of talent… but a shortage of recruiters trained and experienced to find the right talent. Our tenure for our recruiting team is 10 years (domestic) and 3 years (offshore) and all recruiters complete a 52 week professional recruiting training which translates to top quality submittals for each of our clients.
